PRESENTACIÓN

Abierto el plazo de presentación de artículos para REIA#23:

La Universidad Europea de Madrid asume la misión de incentivar la investigación en todas sus áreas y modalidades. REIA se enmarca en esa vocación aplicada al campo de la investigación en arquitectura.

REIA viene a ampliar el cauce de difusión de las investigaciones que expanden el conocimiento en el campo de la arquitectura entendida en ámbito de conocimiento transversal, que se ocupa de gestionar la complejidad física y cultural del entorno humano. Con ello pretendemos dar salida a trabajos que se sitúan en líneas fronterizas entre disciplinas.

REIA se abre a investigadores, teóricos, estudiantes de doctorado, historiadores, críticos, a todos los arquitectos y los que no lo son, a todos los que pretenden hacer aportaciones originales y rigurosas al conocimiento de ese territorio que se expande a cada momento y a la que llamamos arquitectura.

REIA consta de un Comité Científico compuesto por investigadores y teóricos de referencia, está regida por un Consejo Editorial y las labores ejecutivas las realiza un equipo editor.

REIA quiere garantizar la calidad de los trabajos publicados mediante el sistema de revisión por pares ciega de los originales recibidos que se lleva a cabo por miembros del Comité Científico.

REIA prescinde de línea editorial, admite artículos con tema libre, y la publicación de éstos se rige exclusivamente por la calidad que es validada mediante la revisión por pares ciega.

REIA tiene periodicidad semestral y está incluida en AVERY INDEX, LATINDEX y DIALNET.

Universidad Europea de Madrid undertakes the mission to promote all types of research and in all fields. REIA applies this undertaking to the field of architecture research.

REIA is involved in increasing dissemination of research to increase knowledge in the field of architecture as understood within the scope of cross-disciplinary knowledge, and dealing with the management of the physical and cultural complexity of the human-built environment. We intend to use this as an outlet for work that sits on the boundaries between disciplines.

REIA is open to researchers, theoreticians, PhD students, historians, critics, to all architects and non-architects, and to anyone intending to make an original and thorough contribution to knowledge in the ever-expanding field that we call architecture.

REIA comprises a Scientific Committee made up of prominent researchers and theoreticians, is governed by an Editorial Board, and executive work is carried out by an editorial team.

REIA endeavors to guarantee the quality of published work via a system of blind peer review of incoming originals by members of the Scientific Committee.

REIA does not involve an editorial line, and accepts papers with an open choice of topic. Publication thereof is subject exclusively to their quality, which is validated through blind peer review.

REIA is published every six months and is included on the AVERY INDEX, LATINDEX and DIALNET.
